The LPN is responsible for observing, recording, and reporting changes in the patients' condition. Duties include, but are not limited to, providing supportive nursing care to patients, ranging from adults to geriatrics, and must possess the necessary skills to carry out the most complex practical nursing care assignments. The incumbent is responsible for providing the highest level of nursing care possible in accordance with the standards of practice established for the area of assignment. Manages and delivers nursing care for complex patient situations under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Provider. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Taking vital signs Giving medications and treatments as prescribed Communicating preventive health care issues to patients Accessing
