The primary purpose of the Food Service Worker position is to use established food safety and sanitation principals to prepare and deliver all meals and nourishments to patients. This includes portioning food items, and working on tray lines to assemble meal trays. The Food Service Worker delivers trays and nourishments to patients, washes dishware, pots and pans, and completes general cleaning as assigned. Major Duties Performs tasks with several steps or a sequence of tasks that requires attention to work operations. Follows set procedures in accomplishing repetitive assignments and follows an established sequence of work.
