Overview Inpatient unit caring for adult patients following a surgical procedure, primarily of orthopedic nature and/or patients with a medical diagnosis requiring hospitalization. This inpatient unit is able to provide telemetry care and monitoring for patients as needed. The unit is fast-paced and challenging with many valuable learning opportunities. Adult medical/surgical unit with a focus on orthopedic diagnosis and surgeries. Orthopedic conditions treated include but are not limited to: total joint replacement (hips & knees), fractured hips, fractures of other bones, back and neck pain, foot reconstruction, and other joint problems (rotator cuff, tennis elbow, knee ligament tears).
