Licensed Vocational Nurse (Ambulatory Care - PACT)
The primary purpose is to perform assigned duties in a manner that promotes quality health care, position customer service and the maintenance of an environment committed to serving the veteran. The LVN performs within this functional statement under close supervision of the Nurse Manager or designee. Assigned tasks require basic technical competence and skill. The LVN GS-6 is expected to be able to function at the fully successful level for all key elements at the LVN GS-5 grade. The LVN Performs and documents focused assessment and reports abnormal findings to the Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager and/or RN Team Leader.
