The Program Manager assists the director with the planning and overall operations of the Emergency department. Helps to manage and implement processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Emergency department.
Â·Associateâ€™s degree required; Associateâ€™s degree in a health-related field preferred. Â·Bachelorâ€™s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business highly preferred. Â·Proficiency in Microsoft Suite to include Word, Excel and Power Point required. Â·High level interpersonal/communication skills required to promote team approach and in dealing with patients and visitors. Â·Excellent written and verbal skills required. Â·Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Â·Minimum of three years of experience working in an acute care hospital setting required. Â·Prior management/program management experience preferred. Â·None required. Â·BLS preferred.
