The Unit Secretary attends the nursing station and performs clerical and reception duties on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, (for patient's birth to 3 months) for an assigned shift, under direct supervision. Performs assigned tasks in accordance with the hospital philosophy, values, standards, policies and procedures. Functions as the lead Unit Secretary, responsible for inventorying supplies on a weekly basis, placing stock and non-stock orders for supplies on line, following-up with purchasing on outstanding orders.
Two yearsâ€™ experience or sufficient previous experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. English required, bilingual (English/Spanish; English/French) preferred
