Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Financial Disclosure Report: Not required This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until December 31, 2021. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be February 18, 2021, with subsequent cut off dates on a bi-weekly basis. Recruitment/Relocation Incentive not authorized PCS Expenses not authorized Performing gross and microscopic examination of surgical and cytological cases and providing reports in a timely manner Performing intraoperative frozen section and gross interpretations as needed Performing post-mortem examinations and ensuring that the provisional and final reports are completed in a timely fashion Interpreting clinical laboratory data and communicating conclusions effectively with providers Providing clinical pathology consultations to providers when appropriate Taking call on a rotating schedule Oversight and instruction of residents and medical students Representing the laboratory at functions or committees such as multidisciplinary tumor boards, transfusion utilization review, and others Participating in the review of quality-control data, results from proficiency testing, and other internal service data to meet regulatory requirements Participating in quality improvement within the service and proactively supporting cost-effective use of resources in laboratory operations Excellent communication skills
