The incumbent is assigned to the Emergency Department (ED) at the Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHCS) and serves as is an integral member of a the multidisciplinary team, providing social work services to patients presenting to in the ED. s at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS). The Social Worker is assigned to the Social Wok Service line and is responsible for care coordination and provision of social work services to Veterans and their families.
