Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for identifying patient's needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning for and delegating care based on patient's needs, executing therapeutic physician or nurse initiated interventions, and evaluating the patient's response to care and progress towards outcomes. The Telemetry Registered Nurse is proficient in diagnosis related to cardiac functioning and the symptomology for the patient. They are proficient in the interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias and instituting therapy based on physician orders, protocols, and policies.

Up to 10K Sign On bonus based on experience.

Required Education/Licensing

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• Current license in the state of Florida or eligible (confirmation from State Board) for licensure
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS card
• Current ACLS card
• Fundamental mathematics
• Verbal and written English skills
  

Required Work Related Experience

• Within 30 days of hire, employee must: complete general and nursing orientation, pass a written med test, demonstrate accuracy and ability in administering medications
• Within 90 days of hire, employee must: show proficiency of IV therapy skills, complete Telemetry Initial specific competencies per unit. Demonstrates basic dysrhythmia skills
