Summary:

Director Materials Management is responsible for managing the supply chain of purchased goods and services through close collaboration with all other departments. The acquisition, receipt, storage and distribution of medical surgical goods and capital items come under the Directors purview. Also key associate to uphold system policies and procedures related to Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory Control, Value Analysis and Distribution in support of all clinical and administrative departments.Directs daily operational tasks of the Materials Management 815201 and Central Service 433101 departments.

Requirements:

Education/Skills

·Bachelors Degree required, Masters preferred

·Knowledge of Materials Management Information Systems

·Basic computer knowledge.

·Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Experience

·Commensurate Hospital Based specific healthcare supply chain experience

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

·High school diploma or equivalent.

·Maintain current state licensure/certification, as applicable.
