We have an exciting new opportunity for a Program Director in our OnTrack Program in Yonkers, NY.
SUMMARY of DUTIES
OnTrackNY is a new, innovative treatment program that will serve adolescents and young adults (16-30 years old) who are within one year of experiencing the onset of non-affective psychosis. The Program Director is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the program, services and staff. The Director will support recovery by providing services that reflect our deeply held values that include the recognition of individual rights of self-determination, choice, shared decision-making and collaboration. When possible he/she will utilize evidence-based practices; always embracing a trauma-informed and person-centered approach.
SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides overall supervision to the team and is responsible for allocation of staff time.
2. Ensures all team members are kept informed of issues involving participants and their families.
3. Monitors caseload size for the team members.
4. Coordinates program outreach, intakes and discharges.
5. Facilitates weekly team meetings and provides training and supervision for the IPS specialist and recovery coach.
6. Makes rotating call schedule for after-hours coverage by team members.
7. Rotating on-call responsibilities with other team members.
8. Models and teaches a person-centered approach, honoring choice, self-determination and shared decision-making.
9. Serves as the primary clinician for a subset of program participants.
10. Follows the established agency policies and maintains appropriate professional standards.
11. Responsible for adhering to all standards and guidelines established by applicable regulatory authorities.
12. Develop and sustain collaboration with internal team and external community providers.
13. Establish and maintain a culture that is recovery oriented and grounded in service excellence.
14. Provide supervision, mentoring, coaching and performance reviews for direct reports.
15. Other designated and related duties.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. The Program Director must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist.
2. Program Director must have at least 2 years’ experience in supervisory level positions.
3. The Program Director must exhibit patience, flexibility, compassion and a deep belief in recovery.
4. Training and experience working with adolescents and/or young adults with serious mental health concerns (experience working with individuals with psychosis is preferred), experience in community-based mental health services and experience with a team approach are required.
5. Basic computer skills in word process¬ing, spreadsheets and data base management are desired.
6. Must be reliable and able to work independently and understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
7. The Program Director must have a valid Driver’s License.
8. The Program Director must be cleared NYS Justice Center through fingerprinting for a Criminal History Records search.
9. The Program Director must be cleared by the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs Staff Exclusion List (SEL) and the New York State Medicaid Exclusion List.
10. The Program Director must be cleared by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) for instances of child abuse and/or neglect.
11. The Program Director must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
