Cook County is assembling a list of qualified candidates for this position that will be considered should the position not be filled with internal eligible applicants. JOB SUMMARY LOCATION: John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital Medical/Surgical 8East Unit - General Surgery/Cardiac/Telemetry) SHIFT: 7:00 P.M. - 7:30 A.M. (36 hours a week/72 hours a pay period) The Clinical Nurse II (Charge Nurse) is a professional care provider who is responsible and accountable for overall management of patient care on a specific shift as well as maintaining comprehensive knowledge of patient's condition. Provides safe, effective and individualized care using the nursing process. Performance of these duties require skills, effective working relationships, setting priorities, and demonstrated knowledge of standard operating policies and procedures. Any NNOC member who responds and/or accepts this position will waive his/her right to the 60 (sixty) day trial period In accordance with Section 4.4(N) of the CBA as of the date of this posting.
