The Emergency Department RN works with all services within the medical center and beyond the walls of the facility including all VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), patients from any VA facility within the nation, and with local Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Emergency Preparedness operations via the Metro Compact within the community and greater Minnesota. The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day/365 days a year.
