The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System is recruiting for a Peer specialist (Female Gender Only) to perform a variety of therapeutic and supportive tasks. The position is in Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) located in Tucson, AZ. Major duties include assisting Veterans in articulating their goals for recovery, learning and practicing new skills, helping monitor progress, assisting in treatment, modeling effective coping techniques and self-help strategies.
