You Will Be Responsible For:
Leads the administration of HR Employees Services which includes Employee Contact Center, core HR administration, benefits, compensation, and document management in alignment with Adventist Health System’s business strategy
Provides direction to the Employee Services leadership team to ensure operational effectiveness, cross functional alignment, continuity and successful delivery of services throughout Adventist Health System
Creates a culture of continuous feedback, process improvement and ongoing learning and development
Ensures the development of effective training materials necessary for successful service delivery
Partners with key stakeholders to ensure effective use of technology, staffing and process for optimal service delivery
Reviews metrics and tracking mechanisms to ensure operational performance is in accordance with established metrics, quality standards, and service level agreements; Reports variances to HR Shared Services Executive Director
Collaborates with HR Strategic Administration to ensure the administration of the total rewards program is compliant with all policies and regulations and in alignment with organizational values
Partners with HR Leaders to implement strategic initiatives and ensures Employee Services leaders have the tools and resources for successful execution
Stays abreast of market trends, state and federal laws, and regulatory requirements; Ensures compliance with the analysis, maintenance, and communication of required reporting
Develops recommendations for changes to service level agreements; Seeks buy-in and approval from stakeholders and implements changes as appropriate
Serves as an interface between HR Employee Services and other HR teams, HR Business Partners, and HR leadership as needed
Serves as an escalation point for complex issues and utilizes strong negotiation/mediation skills and experience to reach resolution
Develops and maintains effective relationships with HR leaders and HR Strategic Administration to foster a team environment promoting open communication.
Partners with HRBP’s to assess facility needs and identify any challenges and gaps
Assists functional administrative managers with escalated and complex issues
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or Health Administration, or a relevant field
Ten years’ experience in Human Resources, specifically in a Human Resources operations environment
Seven years’ experience in a management role
An HR Industry Certification: SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources), or SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management), preferred
Experience in a large employer setting with complex and HR programs and policies, preferred
Human Capital Management (HCM) experience, specifically PeopleSoft, preferred
Master’s degree, preferred
The Employee Services Directoroversees all activities related to HR Employee Services which includes Employee Contact Center, core HR data administration, benefits, compensation, and document management functions for Adventist Health System. Ensures Employee Services operates according to established policies and procedures while successfully resolving and routing employee inquiries, maintaining employee data, and meeting established service level agreements. Provides direction and leadership to Employee Services team and is responsible for cultivating a learning organization that promotes a culture of customer service, cross functional alignment and continuous process improvement. Works with HR Strategic Administration in implementing and evaluating ongoing policies, programs, functions, and activities to ensure they are consistently administered and compliant with company policies and government regulations.
