Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Ability to manage, train, develop, direct, and maintain interpersonal relationships with staff and residents.
• Responsible for development and maintain MDS (RAPs and triggers), nutritional histories, and assessments.
• Documents the progress of the residentsâ™ nutritional and coordinates with the Interdisciplinary Care Plan Team in care plan development.
• Follows policies and procedures of the Nutritional Services Department.
• Coordinates with the Registered Dietitian as needed.
• Accountable for the proper storage of all food and dietary supplies.
• Ensures that the food preparation follows required sanitation procedures and meets the requirements of the Food Handling procedures.
• Evaluates and provides direction in food production including standardizing recipes,
• Responsible for regular participation in department meetings and providing training to dietary staff.

What You Will Need:

• Certified Directory Manager (CDM) certification.  A Registered or Licensed Dietitian will qualify in lieu of CDM certification, but will be compensated as a CDM
• Healthcare Dietary Experience

Job Summary:

The Nutritional Services Director plans and directs the activities in the Nutritional Services Department to provide the highest quality of service and product to residents in a cost-effective manner.  They are responsible for initiating, completing, and maintaining nutritional care plans for the residents.
