Summary:

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is trained in the delivery of age appropriate patient care on a nursing unit.This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS Health St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, and demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values.

Requirements:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the State of Louisiana
• CPR certification
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and medical staff both verbally and written.
• Six (6) months prior Certified Nursing experience preferred.
