UnityPoint Health seeks a strategic, visible and collaborative executive to serve as its next Regional Chief Executive Officer, Sioux City. This leader will also serve as a Senior Vice President for UnityPoint Health and has responsibility for advancing the culture, performance, relationships and impact of healthcare for the region. He/she will be charged with maximizing the value of a broader system while meeting the needs of the local region. Reporting to UnityPoint Health’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and the Sioux City Board of Directors, the Regional CEO has responsibility for maximizing the value of a broader system while meeting the needs of the local region. This leader must understand the opportunities available and have the ability to bring innovative solutions to thrive in the changing landscape of rural healthcare. As part of their system-level Senior Vice President responsibilities, this leader will also bring insights into care delivery, financing strategies and operational initiatives to help advance UnityPoint's collective efforts of becoming the pre-eminent health system in the Midwest.
The Regional CEO must be committed to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism with unwavering commitment to championing patient care and service quality. He/she must be a passionate and visible advocate for UnityPoint Health’s systemic approach to delivering results, while also representing the needs and perspectives of the region. They must live and role model organizational values of fostering unity, owning the moment, championing excellence and seizing opportunity. This requires both independence of thought and excitement about being part of a larger system. The Regional CEO will be energized by building relationships and creating alignment with stakeholders internally and externally within the region. The Regional CEO must also be comfortable operating as an influencer and consensus builder on matters where he/she lacks direct control.
The ideal leader will bring a passion and proven track record for building relationships with physicians, team members, rural health partners and leaders alike. Critical to this individual's success is the ability to attract and retain physicians and providers to the market, engage them in key decisions as to the future of healthcare delivery and partner together to create the best outcomes for patients and communities. The ability to create a unified culture amongst physicians, leaders and team members rallying around a shared vision for the future of healthcare in Sioux City and within UnityPoint Health is imperative.
