Reporting to VP of Infrastructure & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Director, Cybersecurity is a leader responsible for executing security strategy and cybersecurity controls to mature and maintain security posture for M Health Fairview. This leadership role has overall responsibility for Security Engineering and Operations under Cyber Security Risk Management (CSRM). This leader specifically will oversee Cybersecurity Operations, Cyberthreat and Incident Response and Security Automation and Engineering functions for M Health Fairview.
Director, Cybersecurity will assist the CISO and VP of Infrastructure to formulate cybersecurity strategy and its execution aligned with organizational objectives. Responsibilities include the following:
Manage cybersecurity managers/leaders and oversee three core groups of Cybersecurity for MHealth Fairview Security Engineering and automation, Security Operations, Cyberthreat and Incident Response.
Will assist CISO with prioritization of strategic initiatives, remediate security risks in a cost-effective manner, in collaboration with Finance and other IT leadership teams
Formulate strategy and oversee execution of Security Engineering and automation including but not limited to Identity and Access Management, Single Sign On, Multifactor and Strong Authentication and Authorization, user self-service access provisioning and de-provisioning functions
Will oversee Security Domain Architect(s) and partner with Enterprise Architecture group to assist IT/Application/Business teams to architect, design and engineer secure applications
Formulate strategy and oversee execution of incident response and investigations of potential events across the organization. Accountable for directing all cybersecurity incident processes and communication practices 24/7/365
Partner with Infrastructure, Applications and other Security leadership to report existing and/or new vulnerabilities, participate in governance meetings to effectively improve timely patching and remediation of security vulnerabilities
Will help hire, coach, mentor high performing diversified teams in Cybersecurity Operations, Threat and Incident Response and Security Automation and Engineering through formal and informal training opportunities in partnerships with product vendors and industry peer groups to support execution needs of Cybersecurity
Partner with Finance to actively manage the Operating Budget for the Cybersecurity including establishing annual operating budget plan and subsequent quarterly forecasts, headcount for CSRM group with close collaboration with CISO to manage planned/unplanned spend and favorability
Bachelors degree in areas of Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related fields or equivalent combination of experience and education
Minimum of 15 Years of cumulative experience in IT/Cybersecurity/Infrastructure
5+ years of direct leadership/management of security teams.
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science/Cybersecurity
Masters degree in Information Technology or related field
Prior experience as a Senior Manager/Director in IT, Infrastructure or Cybersecurity areas
Prior experience in executing large scale strategic and transformational projects of budgets >$1M with multi-location sourced and dispersed teams
Cybersecurity Industry recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM
