Provides direct back up support to the Customer Service Support Team in the areas of provider set-up and maintenance and configuration by actively participating in cross training, improving processes within the team and meeting established processing deadlines.
Performs accurate set up of standard participating and non-participating providers in the Provider Subsystem.
Researches and processes provider related pended claims.
Updates and maintains accurate demographic, contractual and financial information in the Provider Subsystem to ensure accurate claims processing and payment, Reviews and resolves issues involving provider related claim processing errors.
Requests W-9s from providers and ensures that provider tax identification information is accurately maintained.
Communicates directly with providers as needed to obtain necessary information for set up and maintenance.
