Admissions Reps are responsible for the efficient registration of patients, while providing excellent customer service. ER Reps will frequently work under pressure, requiring flexibility and teamwork. ER Reps will also work with patients at the bedside, requiring the ability to be around patients with serious illness and/or medical conditions. Specific responsibilities include: obtaining demographic & insurance information; collecting co-pays, deposits & deductibles at point of service; identifying patients with limited financial resources offering assistance & direction in making financial arrangements.
HS diploma or equivalent
1 year clerical and customer service experience; previous healthcare experience preferred
Strong data entry skills, numerical aptitude, and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be self-directed & have good organizational skills
