Responsible for preparing sterile instruments and equipment for surgical procedures. Utilizes computerized system charge patients for supplies. Assures proper sterilization techniques. Maintain all records on sterilization procedures.
Successful completion of Central Service Technician course and registry exam.
Good English communication skills.
High School Graduate or GED certificate. CSR Certified preferred.
Must be knowledgeable of steam and sterrad sterilization procedures. Must be familiar with all surgical instrumentation. Basic computer knowledge is necessary. Experience in instrument sterilization procedures preferred.
