ComplexEP procedures include a trial fibrillationand ventricular tachycardiaablations and patients wit h lowejection fraction needing BiV ICDs. - Complex EP procedures which i nclude ablations, BIV ICD's and laserextractions. - Basic and complex in terventional procedures which may include PTCA,stents, IABP placement a ndoperation, Rotoblator, Laser, thrombolysis procedures (Angiojet,Percus urge), valvuloplasties,pulmonary stents, coils, peripheral and congenita l interventions. - Operation of the physiologic and radiographic equipme nt in a safe andefficient manner. - Maintain high standards to achieve q uality patient care. - Keep critical skills current. Minimum Qualifications Education
A graduate of a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate academic program in health science (including, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing)
Must have documented competency in interpretation of EKG and hemodynamics. Cardiac Catheterization or Electrophysiology Lab experience preferred. Allied health professional experience in cardiology preferred.
Degrees, Licensures, Certifications
RCIS, RCES, or IBHRE certification within 24 months of hire and remains in active status Basic Life Support Certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required within 6 months of employment
