The RN assists with the outpatient care coordination while managing the needs of the clinic patients through coordinating patient appointments, reviewing of medical records, provides leadership and oversight for the LPN staff, and provides education for both patients and families needed in relation to follow-up, treatments, and medications, etc. Primary responsibilities include telephone triage and providing care in the Nurse Clinic.
