The position is responsible for producing diagnostic images of the highest quality within departmental and professional

guidelines as well as Demonstrating service-oriented approach when dealing with patients, visitors, and staff. This is a Casual Position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs Medical Imaging Examination, i.e., in Radiant and PACS
• Provides continuous patient care
• Evaluate the work environment and respond to changes
• Performs radiographic quality control functions and Image processing
• Communicates Medical Information
• Maintains equipment and work environment
• Performs clerical/ PACS duties
• Demonstrate service-oriented approach when dealing with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Verify patient orders in Radiant and make correction as needed to charges.
• Chose correct patient from the technologist work list
• Proficient in the operation of PACS Cube (Images duplication to CD and image import)
• Assist and instruct Student Radiographers

Position Qualifications:

ARDMS Registered and CPR Certification preferred. 

ARDMS registry eligible is acceptable but must achieve ARDMS within one year of employment

ARRT Registered preferred, but not required

Licenses, Registrations or Certifications:

ARDMS Certification

ARRT Certification and Florida HRS licenses preferred, but not required
