Coordinates the flow of communications into and out of Nursing Administration and all aspects of office operations. Provides administrative support to the Vice President of Patient Care Services. Acts as a back-up for Nursing Administration. Prepares monthly reports, agendas, minutes, statistics, data analysis, and special projects for submission. Administrative responsibilities for Patient Call Manager, Share Point, and Online Rewards. Responsible for on-going education, data analysis, and oversight of programs. Coordinates functions with external customers as needed. Demonstrates professionalism. Acts as resource person for all departments in the departments.
High school graduate with college level courses in communicating and business or equivalent work experience in office management and organization.
Post-secondary courses in business or secretarial school desirable.
At least two years of administrative and secretarial experience in office setting within a large institution.
Direct knowledge of hospital procedures preferable.
Excellent administrative skills including: written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal relations.
Knowledge of computers required: Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
