The Nursing Assistant (NA) is a staff member trained to provide personal care and supportive services to the unitï¿½s patient population.He/She functions under the direction and supervision of the RN or LPN.
1.GED or High School Graduate preferred.
2.Preferred completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant program with a South Carolina Nursing Assistant Certificate or successful completion of the first semester of Nursing in a State accredited Nursing program or relevant patient care experience.
Six month of previous nursing assistant experience preferred.
Current BLS certification.
