Join one of the nation's largest free-standing pediatric hospitals and the second largest pediatric hospitals in California! This position is accountable for the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with communicative and/or cognitive impairments, and feeding/swallowing disorders. Demonstrates independent clinical skills with two of the following areas: speech/language assessment, speech/language therapy, dysphagia/swallow assessment/therapy and/or resonance/nasometry/nasendoscopy, speech/cognitive/communicative assessment/sensory stimulation, or high risk infant assessment/intervention. The person participates in orientation, training, and oversight of student clinicians, new office staff and new professional staff.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Current California licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology. Current American Speech-Language-Hearing- Association (ASHA) certificate. Requires one year of pediatric experience (CFY/RPE at CHCC qualifies), or three years of related experience. Bilingual skills desirable. BLS required.
