Adventist Health Sonora is actively seeking a full-time, mission-minded Orthopedic Surgeon to work at the Orthopedic Institute in Sonora, California. The incoming physician will work to support a dedicated Joint program that has been in place for eight years—the team is looking to add someone who has the skill set to perform anterior hip. The candidate will join two other orthopedic surgeons; the Institute has a Mako robot. Procedures include treatment of musculoskeletal diseases, injuries and deformities.
The physician would be employed through our affiliated medical group. The ideal candidate will have postgraduate/ACGME accredited training (residency and fellowship). Experience is preferred, but recent grads are encouraged to apply.
Sonora is an idyllic small town on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Fondly known as “gold country,” Sonora is ideally located within a few hours from Sacramento and San Francisco, close to Yosemite National Park.
Candidates must be BC/BE, ABIM certified, be CA licensed or eligible and meeting the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards.
