In collaboration with the anesthesiologist/CRNA, the anesthesia technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age specific care to patients in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division. The anesthesia technician will coordinate and provide technical support to the providers of anesthesia in the operating room, assist with the educational development of learners within the anesthesia department, assist with patient care, and maintain and ensure availability of supplies and equipment.. Certification/Licensure Graduated from an accredited program in Anesthesia Technology, or a suitable combination of education and 2 years of experience. Maintenance of certification as an anesthesia technician is required. Maintenance of BLS Healthcare Provider Course completion status required. Successful completion of all orientation and departmental programs, and competencies with documentation required. Additional experience/training may be required based on departmental specific needs.
