Performs the primary function of a professional dietitian in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating the nutritional care provided to high risk patients. The dietitian is responsible for interacting with medical staff, nursing staff, ancillary staff and Nutrition Services Department regarding patient care, concerns, and conflicts by identifying and assisting in the resolutions. Responsible and accountable for maintaining performance skills. May be occasions when it will be necessary to work weekends and holidays.
