Under the direction of the Director of Assessment and Referral, the Registered Nurse is a proficient nursing leader and integral member of the multidisciplinary team who has developed expertise in an expanded RN role within the Assessment & Referral Department. This position will be working directly with children, adolescents, adults and their families who are experiencing an acute crisis. The RN assures smooth and orderly admissions into the hospital. Receives incoming admission inquiry calls, assesses patients for admission, and makes appropriate referrals.
