Provides direct patient care in Physical Therapy services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Examines patient's medical history, evaluates their physical abilities, determines their potential to respond to therapy and develops treatment plans. Supervision of the Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) and technician in delivery of Physical Therapy services. Educates patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods
Graduate of a doctorate program in Physical Therapy from a college or university accredited by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
Requires a current New Jersey State license and registration in Physical Therapy
