Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Clinical & Translational Research Center has an opening for a Clinical Research Nurse Manager.
Under direction of the Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) leadership, the Clinical Research Nurse Manager will be responsible for the management of the overall clinical research care for the research participants throughout the continuum of services from initial referral to follow-up visits.
The Manager will,
have good interpersonal skills to serve as the primary coordinator for the interdisciplinary clinical research team, as applicable, including physicians, nurses, research study coordinators, dietitians, pharmacists and pharmaceutical company representatives.
knowledge of research activities and actively participates in fulfilling these activities, and serves as a patient advocate throughout the patient care process.
show proficiency in clinical skills including vitals, clinical assessments, phlebotomy, infusions, sample collection, lab processing, EKG.
And, maintain competency skills including the ability to deliver services to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds. He/she may provide mobile nurse visits for research purposes to other campus locations such as inpatient areas, clinics or physician offices.
In addition, as the CTRC Clinical Research Nurse Manager you will be responsible for actively leading the clinical research nurse staff, and be fully integrated in the daily clinical research activities to be provide a role model for the CTRC research nurses, investigators, coordinators, and other allied professionals.
