The Contract Specialist - Legal, reviews and negotiates various types of healthcare related contracts including, but not limited to, managed care agreements, education affiliation agreements, vendor agreements and IT contracts. Maintains, reviews, revises and drafts contracts.Â Analyzes all clauses, stipulations, obligations and liabilities to ensure the best interest of UHS and its facilities. Serves as the liaison between UHS facilities and the facility vendors in the negotiation of contracts.Â Â Trains key stakeholders at UHS facilities in the UHS contract review process as it pertains to the various agreement types.
Essential Job Duties:
Completes timely contract review and analysis, negotiation and drafting of managed care, vendor, education affiliation and IT agreements.
Serves as the liaison between UHS facilities and the vendors in the negotiation of contracts.
Trains key stakeholders at UHS facilities in the UHS contract review process.
