Timely and accurately processes payroll and accounts payable, prepares journal entries, and provides analytical support relating to accounts payable and payroll.
The specific duties of the A/P Coordinator include but are not limited to:
Processing bi-weekly payroll and answering garnishment letters according to corporate and facility procedures and standards.Printing/storing/furnishing all related documentation and complete FTE reports as required.Ensuring required tax forms are transmitted/mailed by deadlines.Providing payroll related analysis to the CFO as needed.
Processing accounts payable as needed, ensuring proper authorization and invoice accuracy.Preparing journal entries related to unentered invoices.Following up on stale checks.Ensuring proper tax forms are transmitted/mailed by deadlines.Following up on IRS discrepant notifications.Providing purchasing and vendor analysis to the CFO as needed.
Maintaining accounts payable and payroll records according to corporate and facility requirements in a secure, confidential, and organized manner.
Maintaining patient and employee confidentiality in accordance with state and federal laws
Participating in hospital information meetings, required in-service education and training, and hospital-wide performance improvement and compliance activities
