Texoma Medical Center, a 351-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. POSITION SUMMARY:Â Under the direction of the Graduate Medical Education Manager this individual coordinates the daily operations of the Post-Doctoral Training Program by ensuring that accreditation standards are met, educational activities which support the curriculum are established, departmental policies are created and enforced, and recruitment strategies are implemented so that a highly successful Residency program is maintained. Other duties include project coordination and additional clerical functions for the department of Graduate Medical Education. Takes and transcribes meeting minutes; prepares for program inspections; develops house staff schedules; process house staff payroll and evaluations; assists in the credentialing of faculty physicians, residents, interns and medical students as needed; coordinates and distributes the rotation and call schedules. The Medical Education Coordinator is responsible for compliance with corporate guidelines, federal, state and local regulations. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
