The Financial Analyst will prepare monthly financial reports, operational information, and analysis for IPM users. Prepare ad hoc reports of operational trends and metrics as requested by management. Maintain and update structure of Hyperion Essbase general ledger hierarchy components, attributes and supporting schedules.Â Assist with preparation of financial data for special projects including general strategic plans and budgets as needed. Assist accountants with upload of budget data. Review, investigate, and correct discrepancies on monthly inter-departmental/inter-facility balancing reports. Post prior period adjustments for facilities as needed.Â Review monthly reports on use of invalid accounts and report discrepancies to accounting staff for corrections. Collaborate with financial staff on conversion of financial reporting to new integrated systems.
Essential job duties include:
Investigate invalid accounts, balancing issues, prior period adjustments and system issues on a monthly basis.
Prepare financial statement reports and analysis.
Maintains accounts, cost centers and hierarchy attributes for McKesson and Hyperion Essbase.
Ad Hoc reporting of operational and trend analysis from Essbase or General Ledger.
Prepare schedules and assist with special projects including strategic plans.
