Mental Health Worker â€" Full Time â€" Day/Evening Float
HRI Hospital is seeking a full-time, Day/Evening Float Mental Health Worker. Full-time Mental Health Workers are scheduled to work 32 hours per week and are required to work every other weekend. This is a day/evening shift float position. The Mental Health Worker who occupies this position will be scheduled for shifts based on preference and hospital need, and needs to be available to work both day and evening shifts. The day shift is 7am â€" 3:30pm, and the evening shift is 3:00pm â€" 11:30pm. Individuals applying for this position must be able to commit to a week and a half long, 9am to 5pm, orientation.

Monitor patient safety
Assist nursing staff with patient treatment procedures
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors
