Monitors video, fire and smoke detector equipment at the front desk and notifies the appropriate on-call personnel in the event of an incident or emergency. Answers questions and gives information in person or over the telephone, based on knowledge of the hospital and regulations. Presents a good first impression to persons entering the hospital. Internally, the incumbent will interface with hospital management and staff. Externally, the incumbent will interface with all visitors and the general public.
