The Lead Mental Health Technician is a key member of the nursing team and is directly responsible for supporting a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients.Â This position acts as a resource within the unit for other Mental Health Technicians and other staff personnel.Â The lead position is an integral part of the team and must be comfortable and skillful in operating as a team leader to provide direction, support guidance and training to team members.Â This position will assist with the development and implementation of Unit Based Initiatives to improve the quality of service to our patients and provide direct support and guidance to current Mental Health Technicians
