For over 38 years, Shadow Mountain Hospital has provided caring, compassionate care for children, adolescents and adults in need of mental health treatment. Our goal is to provide services that will enable clients to return to a healthy, productive role within his or her family, school, work and community as quickly as possible. Various treatment modalities are used to give individuals a foundation upon which to build healthy, productive lives. Our greatest asset is our staff, comprised of psychiatrists, professional nurses, mental health technicians and therapists. The Director of Program Operations provides leadership and management of residential units, House Supervisors, Unit Coordinators, Staffing Coordinator, Experiential Services, Activity Specialists, and direct care staff, as well as to assure quality delivery of treatment interventions by program personnel as prescribed by the physician, therapist, and the treatment team. Assures staffing ratios are maintained in accordance with staffing guidelines. Supervises MHTs and UCs (including hiring, competency assessment, performance evaluations, event records, etc.) Oversees staff and patient safety, environmental safety and quality of behavioral health residential services. Serves as a mentor to front line supervisors and direct care staff and assists in training, managing/reviewing special treatment interventions, and provides guidance of direct care personnel. Takes lead in assuring consistency, timeliness, and quality delivery of milieu management, implementation of behavioral interventions, and delivery of treatment to patients. This position reports to the CEO.
