A partnership-track faculty position is available in a physician-owned independent, multispecialty group near Virginia Beach. This is a full-time, newly-created position due to significant, full-continuum service line growth and practice succession planning.
Children Specialty Group (CSG) and Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters’ (CHKD) vision for the future of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry practice involves a $50 million development of a med-psych inpatient unit, partial hospital, IOP, and a psychiatric inpatient unit. The Associate Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry will help lead the expansion of services, as well as the development of graduate medical education programs. This is a unique senior leadership opportunity to contribute to the design of an expanding psychiatric service at CHKD and Eastern Virginia Medical School.
The Associate Chief will help lead a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, socials workers, and psychiatric nurse practitioners in expanding services to meet the growing demand for child and adolescent psychiatric services and to train our next generation of behavioral health professionals.
