*This position requires extensive national travel to various UHS Behavioral Health Hospitals and Programs throughout the United States. Candidates must be open to 80% - 90% travel, and must be located within close proximity of a major U.S. airport.
The Divisional Director of Behavioral Health Admissions' responsibilities consist of providing support to the Intake and Marketing departments of the Behavioral Health facilities. Specifically, performing analysis of the operations of the Intake departments and offering feedback for improving systems in order to allow the Intake departments to operate successfully.
Essential Job Duties
Perform data analysis and on site observation of facility Intake operations; and providing direction for ongoing maintenance and improvement of assessment, referral, and admission systems in order to ensure excellence in customer service and effective systems for patient access to care. Maintain regular communications with facility CEO's and Intake Directors to monitor departmental functioning and to resolve issues in a timely fashion
Assist Intake Directors with identification of opportunities for improvement within their departments and assist with development of new systems, drafting of policies, restructuring of staff, etc. to improve operations. Develop and monitor action plans for process improvement within the intake departments
Support the facility CEO's in recruitment, hiring and orientation of Intake Directors and staff. Provide orientation and ongoing training to Intake Directors and staff
Work closely with other corporate support departments including Operations, Business Development, Clinical, and Risk, and address any areas of concern or non-compliance with facility Intake Director and CEO
Communicate and share intake operations best practices among facilities across the division to ensure that all of our Intake departments are demonstrating continual process improvements
