Responsible for the proper set up, tear-down of all meeting rooms in the Russell Pavilion area and Mullen Auditorium. Set up includes tables and chairs, moving wall partitions, and assisting with the set up of food.
Work with Catering Lead and Media Services to ensure timely and accurate set up of rooms for all meetings.
Maintains equipment in good working condition and reports any problems to the Customer Service Center for repair.
Provides basic cleaning of the meeting rooms to include removing trash, vacuuming.
Refer any compliments, complaints, or problems to your manager.
Wear required uniform.
Assist Catering with deliveries and catering set-ups as needed.
Interact with visitors, co-workers with cheerful, helpful behavior. Has good AIDET skills.
Ability to read catering request forms
All other duties as assigned.
Ability to work independently and with team members.
The hours will vary, shifts will be from 5am to 10pm, different days Monday through Friday. Must be available to work weekends when required for extra events.
Previous customer service experience preferred
GED or High school Diploma required

Noise level in work environment is usually moderate, however, during events; the noise level may be high.
