Responsible for providing quality rehabilitative occupational therapy under the direction and supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist to patients, involving musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiopulmonary deficiencies and to promote excellent customer service while adhering to state and federal standards.
Successful completion of a college program for Certification Occupational Therapy Assistants that leads to an Associate Degree and that has been approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Demonstrates problem solving and decision making abilities.
Ability to develop and maintain rapport with the patient and family
Demonstrated ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
One year experience in hospital or home health care required
