This position manages and performs the diversified duties required to manage all Safety, Security, Emergency Management, Environment of Care, Emergency Preparedness, Joint Commission prep, CMS prep, policies, procedures, plans, drills, and related trainings at Valley View Hospital and its facilities.
4 year college degree preferred.
FEMA 100, 200, 700 required
Advanced FEMA trainings such as HSEEP or MEP preferred.
Ability to lead, facilitate and coordinate teams of people to meet team objectives
Ability to provide leadership as a hospital representative in regulatory compliance audits such as OSHA, the Joint Commission, the State of Colorado, etc.
Knowledge in the trades related to facilities management so as to act as a resource for employees and tradespeople
Ability to manage projects
Excellent oral and written communication and collaboration skills
Basic computer skills and abilities
Must be knowledgeable about local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and associated guidelines pertaining to hospitals (OSHA, NFPA, IBC, EPA, The Joint Commission and CMS Conditions of Participation).
Minimum three years’ experience in a hospital facilities setting as well as experience in a related trade.
Experience in a lead role for regulatory compliance audits
