In this dynamic role as Administrative Nurse, you'll be responsible for the management and coordination of registered nurses on the staff along with overseeing collection activities and ensuring compliance with all regulations such as FDA, AABB and other standards. It's important that you have the enthusiasm and ability to motivate and coach your staff, along with giving them training, guidance, and evaluation. You'll also need to step in as the Charge Nurse at times in the Donor Center, or during mobile blood drives.

Current California RN license A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with a Master's Degree preferred Minimum of two years management experience in a clinical environment Recent blood and apheresis platelet collection experience Strong communication skills Strong leadership and organization abilities and donor relations skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays at fixed sites and mobile blood drive locations throughout Los Angeles Must be able to lift 40 pounds, stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours), ability to squat or near the floor.
