Federally Qualified Health Center located in Philadelphia is seeking BC/BE Physicians in Family Practice to provide quality primary care services including urgent, chronic and preventative care to uninsured, underinsured and low income infants, children, teens, adults, and the elderly in an urban setting. Duties include:(a) diagnosis, treatment and management of health problems presented by children and adults including referrals to appropriate internal resources including dental, nutrition, and behavioral health as well as external resources; (b) utilization of appropriate and effective patient care plans as well as ensuring continuity of care and patient education as appropriate; and (c) the provision of concise, adequate documentation of patient care and encounters. The selected physician will also serve as the team leader in the care of the patient and will provide clinical consultations for the mid-level providers and assist in the provision of medical guidance and supervision to other members of the medical team. The selected physician will also participate in peer reviews of clinical care; serve on committees as assigned and participate in the supervision of medical students, interns and residents.
1. Proof of MD/DO degree and residency training from an accredited program.
2. Board eligible/Board certification.
3. Minimum of 1+ clinical experience post-education.
4. Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania or proof of application submission for License to practice medicine.
5. Current BLS certification required.
6. Clearance from the National Data Bank.
