The Emergency Department operates under the auspices of the Primary Care Service Line but its operations are uniquely Emergency Medicine. The main focus will be to provide evaluation, stabilization, and disposition of patients in the Emergency Room. The Emergency Department Physician (EDP) will work as a team with nursing, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and ancillary staff in providing patient care. Liaison with Hospitalist and Specialty staff to provide efficient medical care. Attend committee or conference meetings as required.
Work Schedule: The Emergency Department is a 24/7 operation. Incumbent will work various shifts, usually 8-12 hour duration.

Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
